In a recent interview, Loki's Creator Michael Waldron mentioned that "Loki doesn't just explore anywhere but also anywhen".
That he said “It’s a new sandbox, a new corner of the universe to play in. It was certainly a challenge to define the rules of these spaces, the Time Variance Authority and how these branching timelines work. It wasn’t just about going ‘anywhere it was about going ‘anywhen’.”
